Power Animal Oracle Readings

September 26, 2008

Wolf came and Dolphin came.

Brother Wolf is said to be a guardian, teacher and pathfinder. Mother Dolphin swims in the sea of joy and playfulness. But the trait that both these wonderful animals have in common is that they are committed to their respective community. They are social animals whereby they always roam about in groups respecting and caring for each of its own family.

When Brother Wolf goes hunting alone, he finds a way into unchartered territory returning home with his new findings. He then leads his pack to the new hunting ground, sharing the food that he found. A family of dolphins always supports each other especially in grave situations. They will never abandon a sick or injured dolphin but physically buoyed him up to the surface to inhale air and dive back in under water. Two dolphins will escort a maimed one between them until he is fully recovered.

Our two intelligent friends demonstrate to us that no matter how far we travel up the success ladder or what we intend to do, we cannot do it alone. We always require help, assistance and guidance whether from nature herself such as sunlight or for a ride from the bus driver. This symbiotic relationship is an inherent sense in all of us and thus if we honour it, we will spontaneously care for others as ourselves. And so it is.

Blessings on our journey. Aho!
